Confessions of a Shopaholic

Did I tell you how much I love reading the series of shopaholic? I was first introduced by my dear friend, Fara of the Confessions of a shopaholic. Then, the addiction starts... And I remember, during the time we (me n Fara) were crazy over reading the books, we thought of how wonderful it to be turned out into a movie.. and tadaaa!! I know, I am late on the reviews, though the trailer has been out in the movie, and also local TV. But the thing is... I am so gonna watch this movie and I will definitely make sure that I will be the first one (err- maybe impossible!) sigh- but, will be among the ones to watch it on the very first day its out here in Malaysia!! I so cannot wait..!

She has this habit of... umm.. not-in-control when she's at the mall.. Owh yes, I tend to be like one too esp when there's good bargain all over. And I couldnt stop buying things that I dont actually need, but I usually put it as in, things that I might need @ wear in the near future! ahah- so so self-comforting.. NOT!! Maybe... Just maybe, it could be a good investment (in such a way) Hehehe

Sounds familiar...? If you happen to be one of Gossip Girl fan, of course the quoted line might ring the bell in our heads. The usual starting line of each and every episodes.. I started to know about gossip girl in 2003 by reading the book, written by Cecily von Ziegesar. It's the start of the "scandalous story" where it took place over their sophomore year. It unveils the secrets behind the hot and sultry summer that Serena (S), Blair (Queen B) and Nate's love triangle begins..

The two best friends, Blair and Serena and one year, Serena goes away to boarding school. One summer Serena comes back unexpectedly from boarding school and she quickly finds out that everything isn't the same as it used to be. Blair had made new best friends, Isabel and Kati, and everyone spreads rumors that she was kicked out of boarding school for bad behavior. The only person that doesn't act strange around Serena is Nate, Blairs boyfriend. Blair gets jealous and thinks that Serena will try to steal Nate away from her so she befriends Serena and gets everyone else to not talk to her. Serena doesn't get invited to the coolest parties anymore and finds herself alone watching t.v. on Friday nights. In the end, Serena realizes she doesn't need her cool friends to be happy and goes and makes new friends. She and Blair make up, they aren't friends anymore but Blair stops being mean to Serena, and Nate tells Serena he can't be friends with her anymore because of Blair.

Anyway, about this addict that I have for Gossip Girl.. It's getting worse day by day and I cant help it!! It was a torture when the series stopped suddenly at the 13th episode. And of course, I was dying to know what happen next..! After a looooong wait, the 14th episode has finally being aired last month! Here comes the worst part... Im dying to know what's Serena's BIGGEST secret. The dark secret she's been hiding from everyone all this while, and how she managed to become clean totally from her "summer break" so called...
