JMCC visits Metacorp Substation

I had the opportunity to take photos of the delegates visiting Metacorp Substation. Its a 132kV Substastion located on top of a hill in at the back of MITC Ayer Keroh. Both transformers are supplying 34MW (considered as above firm) during peak hours. This substation is also listed as Critical Installation (2) in our system. Thats a bit of my work. Now, have a look at the pictures taken by, yours truly...

Moments to Remember

My toes are agony. Rain spatters down my collar as I shift from one blistered foot to another. I'm holding my black cardigan over my head as a make-shift umbrella (and its not exactly waterproof). I just want to get back to my apartment, take off these stupid shoes and run a nice hot bath (though I know its not possible since I dont have a heater in my apartment! I just love imagining it..) But, I have been waiting for fifteen minutes and there's no sign for the rain to stop. Its getting heavier..

Shoes which I just bought last week are killing me right now. They were half a size too small but I was convinced that they would stretch (but they dont!) and they are suppose to make my legs look long (and my legs still look the same!)

That was my tragic moment; the day I submitted my thesis (draft) to my Professor. That was in Arpil 2008. I was the world's biggest loser at that time (at least I felt like one). Suddenly, I lapse into silence and I find myself figuring out what my life would be in the next 3 years. And that particular moment is still clear as it was yesterday..

I was digging into my archives, and I found this. This picture was taken back in 2008. I was in my final semester (nak cabut dah masa tu..). One evening, Shiha called me up, nak pegi ambil gambar katanya (sebenarnya nak test camera baru esan!).
