The Dentist

My last visit to the dentist was in 2006. Or 2007. I cant remember. But my point is, it had been ages since my last appointment with my orthodontist. Well, I am totally braces free now. Mom told me I had a regular checkup since I was 4. I knew at that time, I was happy to go and see the dentist. Either I will get an Elmo/Ernie/Big Bird toothbrush with a strawberry flavored toothpaste. How wonderful!

Until one day, the regular checkup turned into some horrifying incident. I was 7. It was my first tooth extraction. The doctor, whom I called Dr. Wonder, became Dr. Evil. It took me an hour to get my tooth extracted. I was crying and holding on to the front door, and of course my mom had to calm me down. Tapi, mana la nak tau masa tu, that it was just a tiny little procedure, kan?! Ahahaha- So, in the end, I got my tooth extracted. How? My dad had to sit and hold me on the chair! Thee hee-

Little did I know 7 years after that, I had to go through 3 major dental surgeries, another 4 teeth being extracted, and then I was on braces for 2 years. In fact, I had to put on braces twice due to some complications. Its not that bad... Even now, I still have a permanent retainer.

So, two weeks ago, I went to a dentist for a regular check up. The first after 3 years. I was surprised at the end of the visit, they gave me like 5 toothbrushes, 2 toothpastes, mouthwash, floss, and a mouthspray. I was so happy! It reminds me of the treat I got during my visit when I was small. Mataku berkaca dan bersinar-sinar. And I skipped home happily..!

I have finally found my Dr. Wonder back!

I am cultivating myself to be creative. At 4am this morning, I couldnt sleep. And so, I continued working on this:

Blue Bag

Last month, I got a little something for myself (*owh, I so love!). I used to have a small DSLR bag (which fits only the body + kit lens + extra battery). Since my addiction doesnt stop on kit lens, so I decided to have another zoom lens + another lil accessories which I have bought earlier. N then, I started to have a little problem. Its either the kit lens or the zoom lens out with me (one of you have to stay at home, ok?). Plus, the bag couldnt accommodate my accessories. I had to stuff it into my handbag, or even worse, 'The Talent' had to hold it for me.


And so, for a few weeks, I have been eyeing on... well... fancy DSLR bags. And thanx to Erman (My sifu) for introducing me to... ehem... CRUMPLER!! It was love at first sight.


Here's a picture on how it looks like. They have a variety of series. It depends on your needs..

Also, they come in variety of colors..! As for me, I was eyeing on the Five Million Dollar Home. Very roomy. Perfect for my two lenses (*coughing* plus speedlite) + other accessories too!!

N so I went hunting for it. The result?

Learning Process

I was doing my routine work in the office today when suddenly I received a text from my dear cousin (she is more like a big sister to me eventhough she's smaller than me)

She popped up the Snafu's place. Talking about Snafu, when i first heard it from her about the "SNAFU situation", i assumed it was a combination of my name n hers = huSNA + FUadah (that makes sense rite?) So, it was more like our situation. But in the end, I was devastated to have found out that it is actually Situation Normal All F***ed Up. Ahah- Lesson learned. (Never ever ever assume other people's term! LOL)

Anyway, here's another encounter on today's matter here goes our conversation:

F: Yea yea yeahh! It can be cafe cum photographer/art gallery! Fuyoo.. Snafu's Place. Hehe We'll have tons of fun holding shows every month

H: Hey..? Ni tiba tiba kenapa? Hahaha Cool!

F: Berangan.. Hehe

H: N we can serve cupcakes, brownies, pastries... Yumm!

F: Sigh.. $igh

(Please note of the dollar sign. It means we need a huge capital to start it off)

H: Haish- kerja kita ni berangan je kan?

F: Berangan berisi takpe. Btw iphone was suggesting Verisimilitude when I wanted to type berisi. Whatever that is..

H: I think that is Bihun..

F: Astaghfirullah, Thats Vermicelli...

And thats how i learn that Bihun is Vermicelli. Not Verisimilitude.
